I've spent over 12 years teaching dance, years in busy London kitchens, and countless mornings on bar. Here's why I started Flō.

Main story
I still remember one customer. Middle of the morning rush. He kept checking his phone, looking at the Platform, and the train was approaching. He was clearly thinking he was going to miss his train. I caught his eye, smiled, and kept working calmly. Steamed his oat flat white while pulling two other shots. Called out his order before I even poured.
When I handed him the cup, his face changed. Not just relief – genuine surprise. He looked at the platform, the train hadn't even stopped yet, then at me again, then at his phone. He smiled. WOW, he said.
That moment stuck with me. Not because I'm special. Because that should be normal. Every café, every kiosk, every morning rush should be able to do that.
I've been a dance teacher for over 12 years. Choreographing groups, running events for up to 1,000 people, and training instructors who learn at different speeds. That taught me something coffee never could: systems. How to make complex movements feel simple. How to turn chaos into rhythm.
Before that, I worked in hospitality – Belgo, Crowne Plaza, On The Hoof Limited, and more. Daily targets, big events, high pressure. You learn fast, or you sink.

So why Flō?
Because I walked into too many cafés that made good coffee but served it slowly. The queue was out the door. The barista was running but getting nowhere. The owner was stressed. And somewhere out the window, someone was missing their train.
I thought: London would be so much more functional with fast service everywhere. Imagine it. People save ten minutes each morning. Businesses grow profits because they serve more customers in the same rush hour. The whole city breathes a little easier.
That's what I want to build.

What Flō really means
Flō isn't just about cutting seconds off a flat white. It's about:
Your customer walking away pleasantly shocked, not frustrated.
Your barista moving with rhythm, not panic.
Your till ringing more often because queues move faster.
Your stress dropping because you have a system, not just hope.

My promise to you
I don't guarantee miracles. I can't control whether your staff practices or your milk delivery arrives on time.
What I guarantee: I will watch your rush, find your specific slowdowns, and give you a clear, printable, actionable plan to fix them. You will see exactly where you lose seconds and exactly how to get them back.
And here's the truth: when your business does better, mine does better. My reputation grows with every café I help. Every fast queue, every shocked-but-pleased customer, every owner who says "that worked" – that's my marketing. So I don't just want you to succeed. I need you to succeed, and I have the means to help you do so.

A few things that qualify me
Fastest barista in London – that's what other café owners call me after I work their bar.
12+ years teaching dance – I know how to coach people who learn at different speeds. Baristas are no different.
Hospitality under pressure – big events, daily targets, zero room for error.
Systems thinker – I don't just make coffee fast. I build systems that keep teams fast.
